A water dowser discovers a hidden fount where a well will soon be dug. As the excavation progresses, Cretaceous rock slabs reveal that this semi-desert stretch in the low Mixteca of Puebla was once part of the sea. In Santa Inés Ahuatempan, a Ngiba community where water scarcity is common, ritual practices call the rains and underground rivers.
